Default 400ex oil leak

just noticed an oil leak on my 400ex a few day ago. it look like it is coming rite were the left case meets the flywheel case. it only drips out when it is running and hot. i thought it may have been the gasket so i took the flywheel case off looked at the gasket it looked to be creased i uncreased it and put it bak together it still leaked.

so i was wondering if any1 had any problems like this or some tips so i can be out riding in this beutiful weather were finally getting here.

You sure it isn't coming from the seal behind the front sprocket? This is a fairly common area for leaks on a 400ex.

I believe it is just taking the sprocket off and then popping the seal out and installing a new one. Anyone?

i really hope so becuase all i could think about for the last 2 days is having to split the cases again to replace another under $5 part.

if that seal is only accesable through the inside thats the only way its gonna happen i think. Any one else know anything about this seal?
