changing differential oil

Default changing differential oil

bringing my AT to my uncles shop, were planning on changing the diff. oil.... how hard is it? how long does it take?

It shouldn't be to hard. You take the drain plug out on the bottom. I'm not sure how long it will take. It shouldn't take to long.

Ride the bike a while before you drain it. It warms the oil up and thins it a little, so it drains easier.

also, heat up the new oil before you put it in, it will flow easier. it's pretty thick stuff.

Mobil 1 75W90 is my choice for gear lube.
