The most power gain is the Curtis Sparks, X-6 system.

If you are willing to spend the money I would go with the Yoshimara titanium trioval pipe b/c of its proformance and looks I also like the BIG GUN full system its alittle cheeper but still gives plenty of power

1988 250x
ITP hole shot
big bore
fly handle bars
AC nerf bars
Proformance cam
Uni air filter
FMF Mega max pipe
proformance valves
Ported and polished
34mm mikuni flat slide
lone star axle carrier
14 tooth front sprocket

Mods soon
( lonestar axle +2 with hubs )
( DG front bumper)
( lonestar stearing system )

What I've discovered from reading countless pipe selection topics is that everyone's got their "best pipe" opinion. Your best bet would be to look at some of the websites and try to get dyno charts. Base your selection on power, looks and please be at least somewhat considerate of the sound the pipe puts out. Ticking people off because of how loud your machine is will just put a negative image of ATVing into one more person's mind.

redgoblin hit it on the head. pick whats best for your area and sound levels.

i wasnt worried about sound, so i got a sparks X6, imho it was worth the $$$ however i got it on ebay for 200$ shipped LUCKY ME!

i really like my HMF as well, the e-series is nice, BUT they break ALOT, so i would stay away from it.

with the sparks you can be doing 5mph in second punch it, the frount lifts, and the bike pulls the gear all the way off idle, unlike before second on a 400ex was annoying in the woods, and would lug like crazy.
