My neighbor bought a brand new 05 Honda Foreman 500 ES, and an 05 Honda 350 Rancher ES 4X4 yesterday (both green) and LOVE them!!! I will try to get some pics of them so "yall" can see them in action. I was going to get a 04 foreman used but, when I saw that my neighbor had a Rancher ES 4x4 , I changed my mind and decided that "when" I get the money I will get an 05 Rancher 4x4 with unlocker (WARN 424)!! He had the 05 Foreman next to the 05 Rancher and there was barely any size difference!!!

He bought them in Tennesse at Southern Honda and paid for them all at once! They both have Oxlite boot gaurds and the Foreman has a 2.5 WARN winch!

A few months ago his 04 Honda Foreman 450 4x4 was STOLEN so he is much more cautious now so when he bought them for an extra $100 they put some sort of ink all over the fourwheelers that only shows up under an ultraviolet light and microscope!They are also getting tracking systems for them!

 

I cant wait to get a job so I can EARN my new QUAD!!!

I bet! It was exciting enough when I found out that my neighbor had gotten two new ones!!!!!

I don't know if I could handle the excitment of getting a new quad!!!

 

I got to ride the rancher today and I had it up to 43 and its only four days old!!!

When i shift in to 5th gear in makes a whining sound does anyone know why this occurs?

 

when i shift into 5th my freinds make a whining noise

 

 

Mine makes a whining sound also (5th gear only).

Has about 700 miles on it, been makin the sound since day one.

 

I have a new 04 Rancher 400 AT with GScape 4x4 and love it, just got it Friday 4/22/05 and it makes that whining noise in 5th, but since it has the choice between ES and Auto, I just leave it in Auto and it is impressive in the swamp. For what it is I am impressed. It barely spins the wheels in the deep muck, like my 2wd 01 Bayou does. THe GPS is sweet! Dealer said don't worry about it. This is the easiest to operate ATV I have ever had.
