Who has tkin a 400ex and put a CRF450r motor in it.

What would be the point, when the 450R frame is so much better? All you would be doing is outstripping the handling of the EX frame.

 

Hybrids are sexy, and can be done for a reasonable price if you watch the boards for deals. A guy I know threw a yzf426/400ex hybrid together for a little over $3k and runs right with the new 450s for half the price. He threw a set of used a-arms and some works shocks, a couple hundred in new maier plastic and it's just like new....

 

so how much would it cost to biled it in a 450r frame and a crf450 motor
