well, i just sold my old 300ex.

And i have 2,000 to play with.

I can trade my 300ex in and 1,500 and get a new 01 400ex.

Should i take that 2,000 put it in or make the trade? For 2,000 i can get a 330 kit and shocks. Plus i have other cash to play with.

I hate losing reverse, but having the extra cash for a 400 appeals to me. Not really just the power. I wanted a new 4-wheeler and got the 2000 300ex, but now why not have the best ATV out there?

I also plan on racing Harescrambles and XC as soon as i get an ATV ready to do it.

400 all the way man!! A friend of mine just got a blaster after selling his t blazer and doesnt miss reverse a bit and there has been many times hes needed it too. Hes not lazy so that didnt bother him having to pick it up and move it. Just dont get yourself in the position where you need it.

yeah i had a Trailblazer then a blaster, i didn't miss it all that much till i was playing in mud and got stuck. And i got stuck in some trails that made it a b*tch to get out because of it.

But i don't know what to do.

How much HP does a 330 put out?

If you only have to dish out a little more for the 400, go for it. You will be suprised on the ergonomics, and it is larger for you to physically grow into. Also, it is nice and fast, i dont know how fast it will compare to the 330, but once you have it, youll have a lot more growing room, or have your foot in the door to get really big. You wont be dissapointed with the 400 either, the suspension is heaps better, and the acc. pump+ some jetting and an air filter will make her really act fun.(only a $50-75 investment.)
From there, you have lots of room to grow. Have you put any time on one yet?

I have about, 40 minutes on one.

I was happy with the way it ran, i didn't think it was forget my 300ex and run and buy one difference. But it was more powerful.

I'm going to try to make the trade of my 300ex and less than 2000, no more than that. If not i'll get a 330 new shocks a-arms and other things and race it
