if i was 110 you wouldn't get me on a 400ex

Maybe a blaster or a 300ex is more your size?

well you just gotta figure out if you think you can handle it, i got that the same thing when i wanted my EX.. people told me i would kill myself, others told me i was too p@@sy for one, i got it and found it to be very exciting and i can take it almost anywhere my brother can take his 4x4 in the mountains.. just think what you'll use it for, and if u get it i'm sure you'll grow into it sooner or later

My 14 year old friend weighs about 120 and he handles his 400EX perfectly. Depends on what your experience is too. He has been riding quads all his life but not sport quads.. He mainly rode 2stroke dirtbikes.

I'm 15 and I weigh only about 125 lbs. and I can handle my 400ex better than my friend can handle his Blaster. I might be small, but no one has said anything to me once they see me ride it. Good luck. Just take it easy the first few rides.

I'm 28 and 110 Pounds, and my 400EX hauls me around just fine. Run it stock, and you should be just fine. I put a Big Gun Exhaust, K&N Filter, DynoJet Kit, 160 Main Jet and 22 inch tires, and the machine is still a blast to ride, and VERY predictable on tough hill climbs, tight trails, pretty much anything. The nice thing about the EX is the fact that it is SOOOOOOOOOO very forgiving to the rider.

Good luck, and just ride to your abilities or you will get hurt.

Go for the 400 EX, if you've got the money why not? Besides it's all your personal preference I first started on a ATC 185S then to an ATC 250R all I noticed is that it sat up a little higher because of the suspension. My friend has ridden dirt bikes since he was 8 thinks the 250R is big I just say it's a preference and what your experience level is and what you've ridden before.
If you have ridden dirt bikes you probably will think it's wide and squatty just because the difference in the ways dirt bikes and quads sit.
If all you've ever ridden is quads you'll probably feel right at home.
