Default changing 400ex sparkplug

the guy i bought my quad from lost the tool kit. so i go to check the spark plug today and a 17mm socket doesnt fit my plug, an 18 wont fit down the hole in the head. same with standard sizes. 11/16 doesnt fit the plug 3/4 wont fit the hole. so i call greyboy (local dealer) and the guy tells me he uses a standard size socket not sure what size though. does anyone here use a socket and ratchet or do i just have to get a tool kit somehow??

The most expensive thin wall won't fit. You have to use the oem tool kit. Look on ebay, they are on there from time to time. If that doesn't work see if you can order just the socket from the dealer.

a thin walled 18 mm socket should work. it may even be snug getting down there.
