Could you be any less specific???

The 250EX is dead solid reliable!

Only problem I have ever had is a short in the headlight of my 400EX. One of the supports pinched a wire and wore off the insulation. Absolutely no other problems of any kind with any of the 9 Hondas I have owned.

There are a fair number of posts on problems with the ES (electronic shift) found on some utilities. (Usually these involve the "angle sensor".) Early on, there were a fair number of posts on Rubicon electronics doing weird things, but those posts have dropped off to nothing in the later models.

I did have a prob but it wasnt the quad itself just a bunk battery that wouldnt hold a charge not even a month after I bought it. But the dealership replaced it and no probs since.

For example-

Did you see the procedure for resetting it? It is beyond ridiculous!

Hey i just got my 250 in december and i dont know to much, i was wondering, ya know how in tire sizings, its like 22x11x10 well i learned that the 10 in that size is the diamater of the rim but i wanted to get new tires that dont fit my stock rims so if i get the tires that i want, like lets say they are 22x11x9 well what size rim would i need and what does the width of the tire have to do in relation to the width of the rim because some tires that are 22x11x9 have 9x9 rims and some have 9x8 rims ect. So does it really matter what the width of the rim is. My stock rims in the front 10x5, 4/144 and my rears are 9x9, 4/110 and the tires it self are 22x7x10 in the front and 22x10x9 in the back, so the tires that are 21x9x10, would they fit on my back rims

Please help im so lost

yes, the sensor in my buddy's rancher es 4x4 has went out multiple times, but i believe all of the electronics of the 03 and early 04 models with the ES are covered by a lifetime factory warranty, because they know that there is a problem with it

the size goes height/width/rim diameter. height you need to be careful u dont go to big and have tires that rub on fenders or heelguards, if u go with a shorter height u have to remember you are loosing ground clearance. i wouldnt go anything under a 20. width should be equal or no more that +2" than the rim size. rim diameter must be the same or the tire wont fit. i hope this helps.

I have a 2001 250EX and it has a broken headlight bulb. I have priced just the bulb at various Honda dealers and the going price for the bulb is $48.00. Do people actually pay this kind of money for an atv bulb. Does anybody have a secret to where I can find this bulb cheaper? Thanks for any replies.

just go to a wal-mart or find a hardware store and have them order one it should be cheaper and do not let your light run all the time
