250ex

Could you be any less specific???
The 250EX is dead solid reliable!
Only problem I have ever had is a short in the headlight of my 400EX. One of the supports pinched a wire and wore off the insulation. Absolutely no other problems of any kind with any of the 9 Hondas I have owned.
There are a fair number of posts on problems with the ES (electronic shift) found on some utilities. (Usually these involve the "angle sensor".) Early on, there were a fair number of posts on Rubicon electronics doing weird things, but those posts have dropped off to nothing in the later models.

Hey i just got my 250 in december and i dont know to much, i was wondering, ya know how in tire sizings, its like 22x11x10 well i learned that the 10 in that size is the diamater of the rim but i wanted to get new tires that dont fit my stock rims so if i get the tires that i want, like lets say they are 22x11x9 well what size rim would i need and what does the width of the tire have to do in relation to the width of the rim because some tires that are 22x11x9 have 9x9 rims and some have 9x8 rims ect. So does it really matter what the width of the rim is. My stock rims in the front 10x5, 4/144 and my rears are 9x9, 4/110 and the tires it self are 22x7x10 in the front and 22x10x9 in the back, so the tires that are 21x9x10, would they fit on my back rims
Please help im so lost

I have a 2001 250EX and it has a broken headlight bulb. I have priced just the bulb at various Honda dealers and the going price for the bulb is $48.00. Do people actually pay this kind of money for an atv bulb. Does anybody have a secret to where I can find this bulb cheaper? Thanks for any replies.
