ok, what are advantages of this?
should i do it? how, or what is the best way to do it? thanks |
If you can't spell it, you probably shouldn't cut it. Only advantage is, you will get covered with even more mud.

the best way is to use a hacksaw blade. for a handle use duct tape. before you cut your plastic draw the line you are going to cut with a marker. when you are done clean up the cut with a fine sand paper (400 or so grit) with the sand paper you can round the edge. if you didnt know the best place to cut is along the part of the fender where it stops angling upwards and flattens out. post a picture when you are done!!!!

I have already done this.. and what turd04 said is true about the location..As for Y you would do this it is because most MX/Desert riders like to watch there front tires when the are turning, take off, landing etc... so you can adjust your riding, etc

Before you cut your plastic take some masking tape and play with the lines to see what you like then cut it. Then after you cut it and get it where you want it the last step should be a heat gun and slowly heat the edges to get rid of the white. Be careful practice on the cut plastic.
