i got a 400ex with the mods in my sig, and i was wondering what mod i should do first because it will be one of my last, or thats atleast what i am telling myself. hotcam stage1,rejet, perhaps 450r carb. OR send my shocks in to works to have them revalved with new springs?

Stock 400ex shocks can't be rebuilt. So I guess engine mods will be in order.

what am i looking at in $$ to get a good set of shocks, even if they were used.

what kind of shocks should i be looking for, i dont race but i would like to start soon and i usually ride hard enough so that i feel like my shocks are holdin me bak a little.

 

Look on ebay, for some works triple rate shocks. I bought a set for my 400ex a while back for $220 or so. They are a real big improvement over stock.
