I have a 2003 400ex and I have done some simple mods. k&n, outerwears, no lid, baffle removed. I would like to know if anyone would have a baseline jetting postition for keihin jets. Need asap going to dunes tomorrow....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

40 pilot and 160 or 165 on the main.

 

i talked to a machanic and he said 160-165 he told me to check my plug after i run for a little bit to see if im lean or rich but yeah i have the same year make model as you so well i just picked mine up today 160 -165 and with exhaust he said about 170 so there you have it

 

your elevation matters quite a bit. if you are at similar elevation as i am, with a stock pipe with end cap removed, filter, and no air box lid i would run around a keihin 155 probably.

 

I am running almost the same setup except I have a supertrapp on mine. I am running a 160. I am in Tennessee and use mine for drag racing. Where you are located will have some effect on which jet you will have to use.
