hello,

I just rebuilt a honda 250x transmission and bottom end.

After reassembly I was able to shift through several of the gears, with the bottom end sitting on a bench. Now i can not shift any of them? It goes about a 1/4 distance each way and when looking through at the assembly i can see that the forks are trying to move but aren't moving fully?

Should this transmission be able to be shifted easilly without it being in rotation (on a idling vehicle)

what should i look at?
