This is our first 3 wheeler, an atc 125m. I got it for my 8 yr old son. the price was just too good. FREE ..... And i saw it run last year. Before i start it, I want to know if nuetral is all the way up or all the way down. thanx

Nope, neutral is all the way up.

Then you have 4 gears down (fourth is all the way down).

If it's an atc 125M, it should have a green neutral indicator lamp.

I know this because my first ATV ever was an atc 125m.

Then don't forget that down below, next to the left rear tire, you also have a switch which gives you the option for switching between H (hi) and L (lo) range. (for normal riding, I suggest you keep it in the H position).

Yep, Honda made a few 4 wheelers with similar trannies. I never could ride the damn thing right, kept shifting up thinking is was going to second. Had me confused as hell.

What year is it? Mine is an 85' and the shift pattern is neutral then 4 gears up.

N on top or N on bottom????

 

i got a fealing that the 350X and 125M have a slightly difrent trany...................... lol..........................
and i never had a motor powered tricycle.................
