Comparing a '92 LT to a '89 TRX??? (TRX was not made in '92)
The full floater was a good setup, very smooth and progressive. The Honda setup is Very good with less moving parts (Bearings, etc.) to cause problems... Properly setup, is probably the best of the two IMHO.
For chain adjustment... the HONDA is the ONLY option... Suzuki couldn't figure out how to make a chain adjusting system that was decent.
(Also appears they are still using it on the new Z... hmmm, some crappy things never change)
I have no idea about swingarm length.. the newer Hondas were 1" shorter than the '86 models, and made of cast alum vs steel.
