Default 650 rincon jug on bottom part of rubicon engine

I read an forum on high lifter about an guy that made his Rubicon an IRS machine and it looked great he did an awesome job well from the pic. anyway now that's to big of an job for me but what got my attention was he said next he was going to put the top part of an Rincon on the bottom part of an Rubicon!!!!!!! so this means that he would have an 650cc Rubicon with that great Rubicon trany That would be so awesome!!! I looked at the parts diagram at servicehonda.com for both and the bolt holes look the same so my question is will this work????
Is there any Honda tech. out there that have had both of these machines apart and know if this is possible?

Keep trying man, there's bound to be someone out there that will lend at least SOME assistance. Are you at all considering this yourself? I'd love for you to keep me posted if so........

yes I'm going to do it if it will work and if I don't trade it in!! I really want a very powerful 4x4 ATV(want Honda but they don't have nothing)) That new 800 bombardier has got my eye(I know it's very ugly but 58% more power than an king Quad OH MY) and it's hard to tell what Honda will come out with in 06(I dough it's much)
I dough I'll trade, take a $3500 loss and have a non Honda I gust don't see it but if Honda comes out with an 800EFI with a locker 98% chance I'll take the loss(we both know that ant happen thou)
IT would be awesome to have a 700 Rubicon(bore the 650) with a brute locker in it( I know I can make that work just have to find a brute crashed)I would need to make a custom drive shaft but it can be done. That would make it easy to sell(put 700 limited edition decals and post on ebay) and get a lot more money out of it for when Honda makes a 4x4 that can hold it own with the brute's, KQ's, and bomb.'s(But would I want to sell it???)

I have talked with the guy(HL) an he is not sure. He is trying to get more info himself but this will be his next project And will keep me informed
Also I email servicehonda.com to see if it will work(they are suppose to be the king of custom bikes for Honda 250R atv,cr500af dirt bike) all they said was they had no info on that subject.
I NEED A HONDA TECH. THAT HAS HAD BOTH APART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Order the gaskets for each motor and see if the holes line up!!!

That would probably be the cheapest way to tell.

Yeah, I have always loved the Kawasaki lockers. The whole thing sounds like a great idea. I don't know why you'd sell it!! The Brute Force locker is the same as the Prairie 650/700 so you can use one out of those too. Best of luck man, let me know!

Yes it's the same locker(in how it works) but the prairie has struts on the front. The brute is independent in the front like the Rubicon I would say there designed A little different.
On the Rincon jug I don't thank it's possible if it dose bolt on It's more than likely the stroke wont be the same.
