2006 Honda's

The 2006 300ex and 400ex are up on the site.
And they misspelled "aire" for the 300. They added 250 bucks to the purchase price over the 2004, and all they did was change the color.
I really, really hate honda. I may not buy another of their products as long as I live because of crap like that, and up until 02 I raced hondas all my life and it was all I had ever owned.

Yeah they have lost me too. I always loved their bikes in the 80's, but they have really fallen behind Yamaha. If it wasn't for die hards who buy Honda no matter what, then maybe they would see the light. Most would agree they build reliable bikes, but their development is flat out lagging.

What's the big deal? MSRP goes up on unchanged products all the time. That's business. I think you're taking this Honda stuff too seriously...

I may be wrong, and please correct me if I am, but I thought I remembered the price going up about 100 bucks on those models. The current foreman and rubicon models are priced into the big bore market and the 650 rincon costs more than any other big bore save for the 700 and 800cc polaris models (which are darn expensive in their own right). The new bomb is priced along the lines of the 800 polaris as well. IMO the rincon does not compare well with any of these machines and would do better to compete with the smaller, cheaper big bores.

Honda does not feel bigger is better, Im sure they are building a EFI 600-650 model as we speak. It may be a year or two away as Honda likes attention to detail. I hope they put OBDII on it

I bought my 400EX brand new in February of 99 and paid $5400 for it. The next year they made no changes at all and the price went up $300. It stayed there until they changed the fourtrax name to a sporttrax and now they up the price again because it's got 450r plastic and reverse and now called a fourtrax once again. I have a feeling that my math may be slightly off but I hope you get the point. Also they don't have a winner in any atv segment. The 400 used to be the best sport quad, now it's an antique compared to the newer quads in that class. The 450r off the showroom floor doesn't have the game that that YFZ450 does. The 650 they make is not anywhere close to the other big bores. Yes, they are all nice quads but they aren't running in the front of the pack. Honda has really let me down since 99. They should stop making quads and motorcycles all together and focus their attention on minivans.
