Ran into a guy yesterday that said he dynod 56hp with fat jetting. What does it take to get that kind of power? can it be done on a stock bore and stroke? Thanks, Tim.

I've seen dirt bikes in the mid 50's, but not a quad.

i have a buddy who dynoed his 500r with port and polish, CRF carb, everything you know...... and pulled out 59 HP, so you probably can't get it without a bore of some kind. Just on a note, my friend's dad has a HP research DS 730 that dynoed at 73 HP...

The N Motion kit- does it sleeve your stock cylinder or do you get a new one? The question is does the cylinder still look stock with their kit?

stock 450r 2wheelers are 54 hp quads are around 38 hp. i dont know the difference in the bike and quad motor but it has to be somethin major for that big of a gap. possibly some loss in the drivetrain of a quad?? i imagine it would take a bigbore kit cam carb and exhaust to see that kind of power from a quad. ive heard the hrc kit bumps the hp to about 43 on the quad.

one reason the bike shows so much more horsepower is becasue of driveline loss. The bike only has to spin a small ammount of weight in the rear compared to an atv.

You get a new cast cylinder. I have no idea how close the new cast cylinder matches the original one.

I dont think you can get 56 HP from just that you will have to have more upgrades to the motor to reach it..
