im thinkin about puttin my 250r k&n airfilter on my 440ex to replace my uni airfilter the k&n doesnt fit on where you mount it but im buildin a bracket to hold my airfilter in place and im removing my airbox will this be ok or should i just go out n buy a new K&n filter

It will be fine if you make the mount right and everything but if you have the $$ I would just go and buy the correct K&N

 

i would just buy a new k&n for $25 at rockymountain.com, it will save you the hassle
Also, if I were you i would also look at the outerwear they supposedly let alot of dust through.

 

yeah the outerwear was what i was plannin on doin but im doin the bracket thing first does rockeymountin have a package deal??
