2-strokes are light and produce a lot of power but 4-strokes last longer and better on gas.

 

im allways scared that my 2 stroke dirtbike is going to break down on me, but it sure is fun to ride.
4 strokes can be fun in some situations also
but it is like apples and oranges

 

2 strokes have a better powerband. not made for trails.
4 strokes are more reliable and use gas slower.

 

In my opinion 4 strokes are cheaper to run. No 2 stroke oil to buy and the 4 strokes get much better mileage.

 

"2 Stroke or 4 stroke WICH IS THE BEST?" ...... All depends on what you want to do with it. All-around use; the 4 stroke is king. 2 strokes are basically ment for ***** to the wall running like MX.

 

not nessesserily, some 2 strokes can be made to work in trails

 

and some other way around too ...not as many 2 strokes out there racing anymore. 4 strokes are starting to get the edge.

and this year is the last year you will ever be able to buy a "new" 2 stroke. (Banshee, and Blaster) 4 strokes are taking over

 

2 strokes need much more maintaince then a 4 stroke. 2 strokes rev higher, and have less torque then a 4 stroke. The 4 strokes are good for trail riding and dont require to mix fules like 2 strokes do.
