I have a 02 Foreman es 4x and I cannot get the speedometer to work. Also You cannot down shift if needed in a hurry.
Any suggestions?
We have tried the battery thing and removed anything electrical...
Speed sensor perhaps?
Does anyone have a digram or a picture of what it is supposed to look like on the inside??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

UPDATE:
It is an '01 and if you are cruising along and shut off the key and back on again really quick it will work. Sounds to me like a computer issue somewhere...???

 

Does the rest of the display work ok? Is it just the speedo that doesnt work? odometer, gear position?
If thats the case...check the fuses, or the terminals may be corrorded in the connectors, or the battery is discharged.
If that doesnt do it, let me know, and ill try to walk you thru the troubleshooting steps.
