sup guys. I was originally going to put 450r shocks on my 400ex, but i cant find them anywhere cheap. Service honda wants a lot fo the stock shocks think they said arond 400 dollars each. Does anyone know any aftermarket shocks that are cheap in price that are decent? For a 2001 400ex? thanks

 

I picked up my Elka no res, triple rate, zero preload for under $400.00.... I think for around $375.00.
For the quality of the shock, it's a really good price.

i got triple rate works for 379 for a pair.. precisionpowersports.com... There really cheap, and there custom built from the factory.

I've got a pair of 450R shocks off of the used 450R I just bought that I'd sell for $190 shipped(U.S.). They're in good shape, if you're interested I can send you some pictures.

 

what are gas shocks? I think my 2001 400ex has a rear gas shock.. What the difference between gas shocks and regular shocks? Cause works sell gas shocks also.
