Forman Repairs/Mods & some pics
Finally got a chance to do some work, maintenance and mods on my '98 Forman 450s this past weekend. First on the list was a real good cleaning with the pressure washer, sponge and degreaser, took off alot of the plastics and the wheels and got at it. After my last excursion it really needed it!!!

On my last excursion I also got the front end in deep, my headlights (converted rubicon headlights!!) took on some muddy water so I took them off, washed them, dried them and relealed the lenses and the hole for the bulb to prevent it from happening again.

I finally installed my new winch cable, the old cable was the original and is now frail and contintues to break, the new cable will help solve that problem. I also installed the new battery, again the old one was the original and finally gave up the ghost. While it was apart, I took apart all the electrical connections, cleaned them and coated them in di-electric grease. I also installed a start in gear override button. i ran a wire from ground, through a handlebar mounted switch (non latching) and spliced in line with the green-red stipe wire on the starter solenoid. This way the factory system works as normal all the time, until I press my new button which will give me a neutral light in any gear position and allow me to re-start after a stall. Excellent mod!!!
That's it for now!!!
