I saw that story on line earlier today. This type of publicity really hurts the atv industry. Things like this could cost all of us our riding areas someday.

In my mind it would be really disrespectful to show up to his funeral driving an atv with no helmet on (since it is the same scenario as his). Plus, you would think that something like that would persuade them to put a helmet on?

cavu - I know that term has something to do with piloting an airplane. What does it stand for? Something about ceiling something visibility something?

Did a yahoo search and figured it out - ceiling absolute visibility unlimited.

Guessing you are a pilot?

cavu is ceiling acceptable and visibility unlimited. Generally it means no concerns with weather.
