I'm doing this for a freind who wants to get a bit more out of his EX, he wants to at least keep up with my Raptor. He wants to get a 440 kit that includes a higher compression ppiston, stage 2 cams, and a rev box. I know for sure you are going to need more like, springs, gaskets and other stuff so I want to know what he needs to have a reliable and fast 440EX? Also I have heard that some 416's kits work better?

i have also heard a 416 runs better too. in an old atv action they said its because the bore and stroke work better that way, where the 440 was just torquey and vibrated more. ive rdden a 416 (im sure theres faster ones) and it will keep with a STOCK raptor.

 

The 416ex will keep up wit the stock raptor i have a few friends that have raptors and one is stock and the 416ex wit pipe and rev box runs wit it easily. i havnt never rode the 440ex but i would think the 416 would be better

 

i had no problem keepin up with raptors on my ex well most of them where tryin to keep up with me maybe its jsut the rider though.......but now that i got my 440 kit n all my other stuff i blow raptors away

Heck yes thats the way haha the 250rs ROCk haha. they maybe 20 years old but still are dead out fast
