Got a recall notice yesterday about brakes being improperly assembled, with both pads on one side of the rotor, and no pad on the other. This would be pretty hard to miss! You would be grinding your rotor against metal on the no pad side. I can't imagine that dealers wouldn't catch this when they set up the bike.

Thats funny, who do the dealers hire these days?
When some pissed off punk quits Jiffy Lube do the dealers ask for references?

I wouldn't be overly suprised if they missed it when they were getting the bike ready. My parking brake wasn't adjusted (not a big deal, they never work anyway). But the throttle cable wasn't adjusted either, it would only open the slide approx 3/4 way.

My 400 is Aok but, i just think it might be something that they did at the factory, people just werent watching what they were doing, its nothing big though, unless your a complete moron and dont know what crappy brakes feel like.
