Hey, i was just scolling the classieds and i found a disasembled R motor for 350. I think the guy said it is is decided shape. The left case was welded tho. Is that bad? He said the crank looks good buhe aint sure. If i can get it for 300 i think i may get it. I dont have a R yet but am saving up for one. SO i figure i can buy it assemble it and keep it, and then look for a rolling chasis. or just aseemlbe it and sell it. what do u think?
thanks matt

I, personally, wouldn't buy it unless I had a chassis to put it in. It's easier to find complete quads than just chassis (out here anyway). I would maybe buy it if I wanted to have a "standby" engine ready to go in.

i think it depends if you are going to race and are willing to spend the money that it takes and i do not know how experance you have but i would not of wanted to put my first R together from parts. now if you have experance with working with this kind of stuff and want the best quad you can get than go for it.
