Default Rancher oweners..Question.

Where do you plan to buy your Rancher? I bought mine at Reynolds, and regret it. The service is not very good.

In fact I am still waiting for the Call on getting my Recall done.

Oh and on the Snorkel, believe the new laws passed last year outlawed them.

Ya believe it or not you can actually get busted for crossing a tiny stream now.
Part of New ATV Laws

15-A. Prohibited equipment. A person may not operate an ATV that is equipped with a snorkel kit or other equipment designed to allow the ATV to be used in deep water except with the permission of the owner of the land on which the ATV is operated or as provided in section 13159.

A. A person may not operate an ATV:

(1) On a salt marsh, intertidal zone, marine sand beach, sand dune or any cemetery, burial place or burying ground; or

(2) When the ground is not frozen and sufficiently covered with snow to prevent direct damage to the vegetation:

(a) On alpine tundra;

(b) On a freshwater marsh or bog, river, brook, stream, great pond, nonforested wetland or vernal pool; or

(c) In a source water protection area as defined in Title 30-A, section 2001, subsection 20-A.

Anyway I would stick with Rochester Motorsports, they are not top notch but anyone is better then Reynolds.

Well I have the 2004 350. Payed $3,900 I believe. Then I made the mistake of adding the Silver Pit Pass and Extended warrenty for another 750. With taxes and stuff close to 5,000. 900 Down.

At 13% Interest I pay 137 month for 3 years.

I paid 4200 cash for my 2005 Rancher. It's a manual tranny and the only reason I got it at that price was because I told the local dealer I could go to Tennessee and get one for that price and pay no sales tax.

You should try and not finance an ATV unless you can get a super low or zero APR rate. As one poster said he financed $4100 over 3 years (at $137 a month), this equals to about $932 in interest. Yikes! This was at a high rate of 13%. You could probably to better with a new Visa account that offers zero percent APR on purchases, some for the life of the purchase if I recall.

Or try and put as big of a down payment on it as you can. If you can't then maybe you need to hold off on an ATV purchase for a while. JMO.
