When I got my FMF Megamax and re-jetted, I still was tied when racing my dad. Then I got Maxxis Razrs and still was tied. I put 20 psi in them and now am 10 feet in front of him. I was wondering if removing the airbox lid and going up to a 120 main jet would help. It has a 112 in it now with 2- 1 inch holes and a 5/8 inch hole.

25 inch tires make it faster.

It's been said 1000000 times you need more gear not power most quadS need a 6th 7th or 8th to really go fast on flat land. Now if you had sprockets you could just put a smaller sprocket on the back and run 100

putting on a bigger carb will help your mid to top end power, if tuned correctly. You will lose low end power, however.
