I have a 2000 Honda Recon, bone stock and was wondering what the best size tires
to have put on. I was thinking about using GBC dirt devils.

22-11-9 Maxxis sure trac. Great traction and wear like iron.

 

Thats funny, I ordered Sur Tracs last week and had them out for the first time this weekend.
They hooked up real well.

i runn 24 in dirt hooks

 

I pesonally like my 24' itp mudlights
they wont spin but they are the best wearing tire i've found
i kick this atv all over though mud and snow and sand
i plow with it and i never loose traction anywhere

i would put 23" mudbugs there a good mud tire and there cheap.

 

I've put 22" Maxxis Razr2s on the rear last year. Love em. They hook up and wear great. Didn't seem to bog the bike down or change the riding characteristics. I need to change out those Dunlops in front for the Razr2s. The rim would need to be changed to the 22 10x5 from an older 250ex. Anyone done this sucessfully? Is the offset OK?

 

My wife has a 2005 recon and she kept getting high centered with stock tires so i bought a set of 25" itp mudlites and 12" rims and it goes any where. We went to a mud park and she never got it stuck and she went threw some bad stuff. It did take a little power out the hole but not so bad you can tell it it did gain on top end acording to my seep odemertor on my rubicon it used to go 48 now it goes 51. She loves it now. 25x8x12 front and 25x10x12 back
