Default Flat Tires<arghh>

OK, I might just be a victim of bad luck but I've been having a lot of flats it seems. My Outlander has had three flats, my DS has had three flats, and my brand new Rincon just had a flat, all in less then a year. Ended up replacing tires on the DS and Outlander because they each had 5 plugs in them. I run the mfgr. recommended air in each tire, should I run the tires maybe a little lower air pressure? Figure if they are striking mostly rocks, less air means a little more spongy tires, less punctures? I'm so paranoid now I always carry a bike pump and patch kit with me on the trail.

Get 6-ply tires, keep them between 5 and 7 psi(less will break the bead), and other then that, watch out for the sharp rocks! lol, 6-plys might be heavy for your ds though.
