No new side by side???

I may be jumping the gun here, but I was told this evening by someone helping set up the show area for the dealer show that nothing that came off the trucks today appeared to be a side by side vehicle similar to the Ryno.
All are still covered up at this point, and are on platofrms and displays. From where he was standing, he knew that he saw at least 5 quads in there, but no way were any of them a side by side. He said that everything in there besides what was on a platform didn't have the size or shape to be one.
Also keep in mind that Honda had Farr's quad in there last year.....so "at least 5 quads" doesn't mean a thing.
This is pertaining to the side by side only.
Is it coming at the last minute tomorrow to keep the secret that much longer???
We will see.

Is the Rhino a huge lawsuit waiting to happen??? I personally know one person who is in the hospital in traction right now, because when a Rhino rolled, his foot came out and ended up under the vehicle (nasty compound fracture, with the bone sticking out!). The driver couldn't get the machine off of him (way to heavy at 1,000 pounds), so the guy had to lay there under the machine while he ran for help.
Haven't checked here, but on other sites there are a number of posts on leg injuries and near miss leg injuries from rollovers. Maybe Honda is playing it smart in the liability game here???
From what I am seeing out on the trails, Yamaha is selling a ton of these!

RR Yamaha cant be liable for rider error and unsafe driving practices. The kawasaki mule has been out for a much longer period of time and has fared well as liability goes. The Rhino is, however, more powerful and many more people are using them as recreational machines where as a greater number of mule users engaged in work/hauling/towing types of tasks. So its not a suprise to me if injuries go up, but I would be very, very suprised if any substantial legal case was made of any of it.

The stock Rhino has absolutely nothing to keep a passengers legs/arms inside in a rollover. The machine needs doors, or a net, or something to keep the legs in.
I disagree about the liability thing! I'm not sure that if I were on a jury, I wouldn't be inclined to vote Yamaha guilty for neglegence in their design.
After hearing about the crash I described above, another guy I know had bars welded on the side, just to avoid such an accident.

Take a look, neither does the mule, gator, kubota, or most others. Theses are doorless machines, they have open access to the passenger compartment. If people are too dumb to realize that a top heavy vehicle is tippy and that you shouldnt stick your foot out to try to stop it its not yamaha or anyone else's problem.

You can't idiot-proof everything. Add bars everywhere or straps for arms and legs and you only open up another can of worms as far as lawsuits go anyway. Lets face it, some people will always ride above their skills or their machines ability, or do something really stupid and get hurt or even worse.
Back on subject, I would like to see Honda make available a lightweight, sporty side by side with independant front and rear suspension.

But........on an ATV you can shift your weight to counter the weight of the vehicle. On the side-by-side you are just sitting there like statue.
A lot of the side-by-sides are even worse than the Rhino, because they don't even have roll bars and seat belts.
