honda is making me mad!!!!!

honda does all these adjustments to all the other quads but the 300ex. its been the same for like ever. does anyone agree? I think its stupid. and I would've went to the kawasaki mojave with lc but it has a kick start. im ready to give up on honda racing. i dont like the balster because i think its built cheap. i think honda should but the 450r plastic on the 300, make it lighter, and make it L.C. my 300 has blown out the valvves and i just had to rebuild it because it overheated. its making me mad and costing me money. idk if there anything i can do but if you can help me i would be happy.

There were two RUMORS at the show regarding the 300EX.
[1] The 300EX didn't get upgraded this year like the rest so that Honda can have a "surprise" in the sport category next year.
[2] The new 250EX was redesigned to replace the 300EX. The 300EX was only left for 2006 so that dealers would have an entry level sport quad on the floor to sell until the new 250EX models start shipping.
Rumor #2 was the consensus of not just the dealers,...but the Honda sales reps as well.
Just one year to wait and know for sure.

If my theory holds true that Honda has a magic number of quads to have on the market at any given time then maybe merging the 250ex and 350ex will give them room for a ute or a big bore sport model.

No doubt, RR. That would be sweet. It would be like in the 80s when Honda had a 250X and a 250R. Same displacement, different performer.

While I normally don't go as far as to say the word "never" when it comes to Honda........ I will this time.
A CRF250 powered quad doesn't make any sense at all...and for two major reasons.
[1] These 250 4 stroke MXers do not create no where near the juice to power a 350lb quad off the starting gate or perform well in real world riding conditions. That engine jst doesn't make the power. Have you ever ridden a CRF250 or YZ250F with a passenger??? You would know what I mean then.
We fooled around a bit with this 2 years ago using a YZF250 engine in a Blaster with a MX racing setup done to the chassis.
A Raptor 350 would have been a better perormer compared to it.......seriously.
[2] The price would be in the 5500 range even using cheaper suspension componets. Look at the variance in the price between the dirtbikes regarding the 250 and 450. The AMA doesn't have a class for it. No one else offers such a model either. Who would buy these things anyway?? You would be much better off with...hmmmm....a 400EX as a starting point.
I or anyone else for that matter can justify ANY quad being offered from any manufacturer, but a CRF, YZF, KXF, RMZ 250cc powered quad doesn't hold any promise at all. That is my take on it.
