im soo happy right now my step dad is letting me sell the blaster and buy a 250r i know its a big jump but ive rode them befor and ive always wanted one... i was thinking puting the lrd pipe and silencer on it for the first mod and nerfbars what do you guys think

 

nice man i heard good things about those bikes and i tried one they are insane

 

buy all the good upgrades and make your buddies with the 450r jealous.

 

yea its been a comp. between me in my friends on whos faster on the trails and on the track and my friend just sold his 300ex and bought a 440ex and i wanted a z400 but then i was thinking i want something that ripped and tore up all the competition for 20 years lol... my friend that bought that 440ex thinks he will still blow me away and dont understand how much potential a 250r really has lol

yea when i was 7 i had the honor to ride on the back of my dads 87 and ive been hooked to riding since and i just rode an 89 two weeks ago for a test ride to see if i wanted to buy it(need some suspension and new bearings) and the guy wanted 3500 for it so i couldnt afford it but im so freaking happy that i get to own the greatest atv of all time and damn do them things rip .... rip 450's a new a$$ lol[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

im getting an 87' though because thats what my dad and uncle said to get. macanic what year do you have and how do you like yours

 

Mine is a 86 model.
The 87 seems to have a better frame. (a little stronger)
althought all the yrs. were good....

I like the frame setup better on the 86-87 model better than the 88-89
the swingarm was shorter on those yrs and its alunimum....

Even thought mine is far from stock.....
just remember they require lots of mantience.......take care or it.

And the faster they go the less reliable they are.......I dont care i just got to go FAST....
