I have a honda 4 trax 300 the carb started leaking out the bottom can anyone tell me how to fix.2000 model

where at on the bottom of the carb?around the bowl(gasket), out the big plug in the bottom, need to be a liitle more specific.

It is leaking out bottom of carb on bottom past float valve. I have already replaced the little valve past the float it still is leaking.Thanks Keith.

float valve ? the only thing i can think of, unless there is a term youre using i'm not familiar with, is the fuel inlet wich is shut off by the floats (sort of). is it leaking past some sort of screw(fuel screw).you'll still need to be more specific. do you have a digital camera?

It is leaking out the bottom of the float bowl out the drain tube.You can go to bike bandit and pull up diagram of 2000 honda fourtrax 4x4 300.

if it is coming out of the DRAIN tube then just plug the tube. the only thing a drain tube is for is exactly that draing the fuel out of your carb ,mostly for storage.if it's the OVERFLOW tube then your floats or float valve(shut off) is stuck,and you'll need to remove the carb and clean it. sometimes you can just tap on the side of the carb and they'll (it) loosen up for a while.
