Default 250ex Question!!!!!!!!!!

You will feel somthing, but it would be a whole lot smarter to go with foam, like uni or somthing of the sort. k and n passes more air but also lets in tiny dirt partciles that you dont wont so if i was you i would get a uni and a ehs lid

I second that. First, any power gains will be barely noticeable, not worth risking your engine. Second, you can now get that waterproofing filter oil for the foam filters, which is huge in our eastern mud and nastiness. Even bigger if you mod the airbox/lid.

You will feel some difference, but not so much as if you also change to an aftermarket exhaust. You will of course have to rejet.

But my advice is to STICK WITH FOAM! Get a UNI. It comes with a far less restrictive insert than the stock filter, and offers you way more protection than the K&N! The little increase in preformance isn't worth the risk of shortening your engine's lifespan.

If you run a k&n with a precharger or outterwears filter you should be better off. You can also oil spray your k&n so theres no way dirt is getting in.
