What ATV would you like to see Honda introduce?

A 500cc Manual shift selectable 4x4 with front disk brakes, mechanical drum rear, 3 headlights and a detroit locker in the front. Factory lift 2.5 inches over the stock forman and Gorilla axles in the front. The tranny should be a 6 speed.

I think that type of bike would need more power than a 250cc four stroke could produce. Many feel that the old wolverine was underpowered with the warrior's engine, a 250 would be lacking in low end grunt needed for the nasty stuff and the top end power desired for sport riding. Great bike idea, just need a more potent power plant.

A lightweight, high-powered 250 semi-automatic 5 or 6 speed Traxlok 4x4 TRUE sport-utility. Racks optional that will look cool with or without. If you somehow gave a Recon a much peppier engine and Traxlok, that would be AWESOME. Think about it. I know reconranger and some others know what I'm talking about.

Unreliable engine with low torque, not the power I'd envision for overcoming the massive drivetrain losses of 4wd.

A sport quad would be bad enough, but a 4x4.

I'd like to see Honda come out with a new 250R and a 500R competition oriented two strokes. I know 2 strokes are supposed to be banned soon. But competition oriented 2 stroke dirt bikes are not being banned. So why can't they make a competition oriented 2 stroke atv?

They are not being banned, it's just that they need to pass emmsions which are less tolerant as of 06'. Besides, most of the Jap brands are wanting to promote their 4-strokes anyways, so they could care less about the 2-strokes. Honda has really dropped R&D on their 2-stroke dirtbikes, they will be the first to completely drop them.
I hear their might be hope for 2-strokes tho, I guess their is manufacturers devolping a 2-stroke engine that burns cleaner than 4-strokes. So we'll see.

I think Honda has everything covered pretty well, except a side by side. They now have a fabulous sport machine in the 450, they don't really need a 660 to compete, and their Utility based machines are excellent. They have just updated the Rincon and though it wasn't what I wanted it does have a loyal following. What they don't have is a side by side. I wish they would come out with something that one ups the Rhino. Honda could do it and do it extremely well if they would - and I really wish they would.
