ya 06 05 got the reverse.

 

the z has better suspension tho.

 

I'd go with the Z. The better suspension and power being the main reasons.

 

Do you plan on leaving it stock or putting Mods. on it .. Because the 400ex has mods. available for it .
I love mine there is not many quads that can bet me in the trails.

 

400ex is better for trails

 

This sounds funny but I have yet to find a quad to bet me in the trails... Yesterday I tor up a raptor bad

 

i used to do trails in back of my house, but then i got introble for crossing to someones property so i dont do alot of trails. i dont think i will put mods. just a pipe

 

the z is a real quad...400ex is old school...shouldnt be a hard decision. 400ex is junk

 

depends on your riding style...........the 400ex is pretty old(good for whealies though).........the z, from what I've seen is pretty nice. They are good trail machines and really rider friendly(for newer riders).......If you want to drag race and mod then go with the polaris sport 400..........they are very quick.......but for everyday riding they are heavy and bulky........



Toanxious.........ever raced a predator in the trials?? I've never been beaten either..........

 

400ex-bullet proof...if you keep oil in it you're golden...easy to maintain....cheap parts
z400-less bullet proof...better suspension

I've been beating on my poor 400 for a few years now and I love it...its funny nobody wanted to buy my Raptor from me...but when friends get back from riding my EX they always seem to like it
