Can someone please help me out?I have a 2002 400EX and I have no clue how it happened but something did and now my bearings are junk and only half of the chain adjuster piece is there.I just realized for the first time awhile ago that the adjuster and the bearing carrier is the same piece.Well the local honda place said its a $7 part but they must have been thinking of the wrong part because an original replacement from Alba with the bearings cost like $3XX.XX so without the bearings(if I could get it that way would probally still be in the $2XX.XX range.I already have All ***** Racing Rear Wheel Bearings coming but I still need this part.Does anyone know where I could get one for real cheap?

Do a search on 400ex carrier

 

You can get a twin bearing carrier for around $150-$200. It will have the new bearing installed. this is alot cheaper than a stock carrier nad better. If you can get one that has a grease fitting on the outside instead of inside it is alot better.

 

Thanks about the twin row carrier but right now I am gonna try the ebay option since money has to be figured into this.I found one but since I am still in school I wont be able to bid on it to make sure I win.That sucks since I want to be in a race coming up late this month and I still have to fix this and at least give it an oil change,fix the exhaust system from backfiring,fix my tire that keeps going flat and I am gonna try to jet it better to make sure its perfect.Not to mension the fact I am 14 and am buying all the parts I need myself by mowing lawns and that industry is starting to slow down this time of year also my and my friends do all of the work on our own stuff.
