350x in 250r. or 350xx

Has any one every put a 350x engine in a 250r frame. I have a 250x. and i really dont feel it is worht to put soem much money into my quad. If i will grow out of it. Or is there a really cheap afterm market frame or a good frame.Or is there any wya to make hadleing and suspesion better without actually changing the frame geametry to much? THat would be better??? any info would be grealty apreciated

Do a search in the projects and conversions. I did a 350RX conversion about 5 years ago. Best thing I ever did.

I used a 89 250R frame with a 86 350X motor.

i went to the link thanks for doing that.
i dont think i have the skills. or the moeny to do so much modification to the frame. I guess the 400ex frames doenst ahve to be modded??? I would love to do that. but i think i will have to go with the 350xx.
do u think it is worth it to put money into the 250x??
