Default 05 400ex price

I am looking to get an 05 400ex and have gotten a price of 5K out the door. Do you think this is a good price? Any dealers you would suggest around AZ would be appreciated.

I always have paid a little more if the local dealer was good.

Saving a few hundred bucks on several thousand may not be smart.

Honda requires a long list of checks to be performed prior to the sale of any of their vehicles. I "suspect" some of the low cost leaders may just hire young cheap kids to slap them together, rather than a young smart kid with proper training, to assemble your machine.

Spend some time at the dealers.

See if you can develop any kind of relationship with them, are these the people you want to service your ATV if anything happens?

Think about it.

You get what you pay for.

Honda has "damage sales" and many of these end up being blow out by dealers.

You shop for cheap, you will get cheap.

And a cheap Honda is still better than a cheap (insert any other brand name here please).

And no service is better than bad service.

If you have a local dealer, please support them IF they are decent folks.

Thats why I got mine in Victorville. I spent a little more but I would have spent that $$$ in gas to go to L.A.Honda

I paid $5K OTD for my wife's yellow '05 400EX three days ago from Western Honda in Scottsdale. The department manager sold it to me. Showed me the invoice. Their price was $4,985.00.

You're getting a good price. I bought a used 2001 400EX (in 2001) for $5200.00. To get a newer one (with reverse, new LED rear/brake light, new plastics and better headlights) today $5K OTD is a fantastic price.
