I am not sold on it yet. I have been wauting since this spring for them to come out with it. I was even in contact with them in early spring about some sponsership. They kept telling me that it would be ready in two weeks, three weeks, next month..... I finally got fed up with them! I am now in the market for the FCR which is proven!

I have heard from a couple of sources (both XR and EX) that they are a nightmare to tune and the throttle pull is very heavy.
This doesn't surprize me with my past experiences with them and their automotive carbs and intake manifolds.
There is currently one on sale on eBay if you're still interested. Wonder why it's for sale?

I used to work for Edelbrock, ran two CNC lathes at their shock division. Several years ago Edelbrock bought out Quicksilver Carbs. They were doing mainly Harley stuff...cams, carbs, etc... The Harley stuff turned out to be ****, so they scraped the entire line. Now they are focusing on off-road. I still have friends there, I will be getting one to test on my 400ex shortly, I will let everyone here in on my findings.

I just got one in for my cousin yesterday. It's a little strange looking but as soon as he gets it strapped up I'll post a report.

You can get them through Golden West Cycle. Go to the web site and order a catalog. It is a flat-side carb which is way better than the butterfly style and are $400. It's called the Quicksilver and is a 37mm or 38mm I think.
