which is quicker? does the displacement gain on the 300ex make up for the weight? how hard are the 250x's to kick?

 

I will help a fellow Cheeser out. The 300ex is definitely stronger in the motor dept. if they are both stock. I will be off slightly on figures ( as I suffer from short term memery loss, hehe) but I think the 300ex (which is actually just a 4 or 6mm stroked 250X anyways) has about 2.5 HP more stock. I have ridden both and they feel the same handling, etc, But I would pick the 300ex because of the electric start. Although a 250X can be found fairly cheap and they are easy to kick over. Pretty much I didn't resolve anything. Good Luck

just sold the 250x in fact.

Easy to kick, lower power, lower top end.

exactly the same everywhere else!
