my girlfriend loves it and the talk about the clutch is so you can use it around corner to gain speed and if you wanna have the popping of the clutch to do a wheelies.i ride it because im waiting for my kfx400 and i like it because its light and the clutch works everytime you need it..im just waiting for a pipe for it ...i dont know if it can us the same aftermarket pipe as last year...if anyone finds out please let me know .....and she got the black one it looks sweet.. if anyone wants to see a picture ill show it to you ..

 

Cool. I had the 04' and all that was missing was that clutch. (and 7 horsepower) I'm happy with my 300ex clutch. Is the 250's clutch as grabby as the 300's? It seems like theres about 1cm between clutch in out and fully dropped. Now-where do you get women with fourwheelers?

 

as for the pipe, I'm gonna guess no. They kinda completely overhauled the 250ex and I doubt it's still based on the recon frame. this probably means the exhaust mounts have changed. Just a guess.
