400ex cooling????

Default 400ex cooling????
I have an 00 400ex when I ride it hard for a while it ticks like the valves are out of adjustment but I just had them done it is fine when it is cold or just crusing down the trails..does this happen to anyone else? I just changed the oil with spectro synthetic 10w40.

Sounds like your valve could be a hair out of spec. It shouldn't be overheating with just the mods you have listed as long as it is jetted for you exhaust.
