i was out riding the other day with my 250 fourtrax(im prety sure its an 86) and i decided to stop for a little bit, and shut the engine off. when i went to turn the key on, the neutral light did not come on(i know for a fact it was in neutral) i shook some of the wiring i popped it in and out of neutral. there was nothing, and i know the battery was fine because the headlight would come on when i turned the switch on. it wouldnt kickstart or anything, no spark of any kind, etc. i ended up trailering it back home, and went to try starting ti again, and to my surprise it started right up, all the lights worked and everything. Now i have the same problem with my 250 3-wheeler(again, i think its 86, but im not sure, i was given this one from a friend) no neutral light, doesnt kickstart, or anything. i did the exact same thign idid with the other one, still nothing. im beginning ot hink its the neutral switch in the trans, but i figured id ask you guys to see your opinion.
