my 250ex axle is bent, so i ordered a new one. Im wondering if the axle is hard to get out? or have to take a lot apart?

 

The Recon/250ex axle is easy to take apart if you know how. both hubs need to come off the n there are the 2 big nuts on the axle that need to go. you would think the axle would go out the left, no you have to take the brake assy off the right and the entire brake/axle assy will come out to the right. then there is a snap ring in the brake part (I forget what side I think the inside) Hope this helps.

got the new axle, took off the side of the brake, took out the axle and back together in 45 mins.
