Default 250r bogs

i have a 250r with the 265pv kit and was recently at a race, halfway through the race my pv diaphragm popped off and ended my chances at finishing. i put the diaphragm back on started the bike and it wouldnt rev past 1/4 throttle, it just bogged. replaced everything in the pv, gasket, diaphragm, spring, still bogged, so i cleaned the filter and carb, still bogs. anyone have any ideas as to what might be wrong? i really want to go riding!
also, it seems like when i turn the gas off and try to rev it, it revs perfect right before the float bowl run dry and kills the engine. any ideas are appreciated

I'd pull the exhaust off and check for restrictions, the exhaust pressure had to get excessive to blow the powervalve or your mainjet fell out of the carb and floods the cylinder with fuel. Check the piston skirt for damage also...

ive checked the float level, and played with it a little too, and played with my main size and jet needle position, but i have not thought about the exhaust restrictions, ill have to check that out tomorrow after work.
