Hi--first time posting. I just bought my wife a TRX250EX in black last night for Christmas. Before it's delivered I was going to have a few mods done to it. I firgured exhaust, Uni-filter, and jet kit would be a good start until it can actually be ridden next year. Can't have her start it up Christmas morning and hear that stock exhaust... I figured this would be a simple process until my Honda Parts lady/person claimed no one makes an exhaust for the '06 TRX250EX. I told her I had seen people on this site posting that they already had aftermarket exhausts up and running so here's what I need: If I could get a list of available exhausts for the '06 from somebody that's already done all the research--I'm in a bit of a time crunch with Christmas just around the corner. My wife's more interested in loud than fast (she's got a Buell too) so any input would be appreciated. I could probably spend $500-$750 on mods--any ideas as to what I should do in order of "importance". Thanks in advance for any help.

 

I've got am 05 250ex with a white brithers e-series exhaust. Sounds real good. Cant see why it want work on the 06.

 

Get a Yoshimura for the pipe.

 

According to everybody at Honda, the '06 and previous years are not compatible. The pipe, system, etc... has to be specifically for an '06.

 

i have an 06 trx 250ex in black to i bought for my girlfriend a month ago and i looked all over and when i called rockymountainatv.com they said that the same part number for the o5 model and the 06 model are the same so i bet it is the same pipe.

 

I saw they had a dmc afterburner for a 2006 250ex and i saw a 2006 with a CHM exhaust

 

hmf makes one. you could get a colored one, full system, and jet kit for about $330.

 

i'm acutally in a similar situation. i bought an 06 250ex for my wife and i'm having a very hard time finding a set of nerf bars for it. does anyone know of a good place to look? thanks in advance for the help!

 

my wife has a 05 and the 06 is the exact frame and motor.. it'll fit up no problem.... buy a pipe for 05 for it it'll work
