400ex vs. lt250R

is there any way i can make a 400 ex faster than a bone stock '86 suzuki quadracer?
is it faster as it is?

A 416 kit or a 460 stroker the stroker cost more b/c u have to do tons to the motor i smoked 2 of them
and i have the 4mm stroker
